Snow Day

The snow started coming down last night. We headed outside to play in the snow a bit before bedtime.
Easton made his own name in the snow in the cul-de-sac.
I made Peyton's with a backwards Y.

After Peyton and Easton made a snowman with our neighbor in her front yard they then saw another neighbors snowman. Peyton and Easton could not believe how big the snowman was.

Game Day for Goalie Peyton

Sauk Rapids vs Monticello. They started out full rink. It also started with a one on one but Peyton stopped the puck. With a few minutes left in the game Monticello got tired and they finished up playing half rink. Peyton is already to play defense in her first game tomorrow and goalie in her second.

Busy Week

Last Friday the kids and I headed to Duluth to visit Colleen and Robb. Had a dinner I can't stop thinking about at Famous Daves (yummo!). Saturday was Easton's last day of basketball and Peyton had hockey games that afternoon in Sartell. Our friend Evelyn came to watch Peyton play in her games. Peyton is going to be goalie this weekend for her game in Monticello. She gets one day of practice and off to the game. I will see If I can figure out how to post videos of E in BBall and P as goalie.

Happy Valentine's Day

Off to work after getting the kids off to school with all that candy they get to hand out, making cookies for our family, and taking Indy for his walk. Pretty walk with all the frost.

Never too much hockey

Once again our weekend was filled with hockey. Friday night Randy headed to Duluth to watch my nephew Scott play hockey. I stayed home with the kids since Easton was still a bit under the weather. Randy posted a few photos on his facebook. Saturday morning Peyton had hockey practice and in the afternoon she played between periods at the SCSU women's game. Since it was Pleasantview day at the SCSU game we saw plenty of our friends. We also were able to cheer for a few gals we know that skate for SCSU. Emma's old teammate Amanda is number 6. After that hockey game I headed to Duluth to watch the Bulldog/Sioux game. I posted a few photos from that on my facebook page. Today we had another game in Paynsville for Peyton.

The top photo is just a drive over the Mississippi bridge. The 2nd photo - I love how Peyton sets her toys up in her room for decoration. The 3rd photo - Easton loves setting up his star wars toys and taking pictures of them. We have a ton of those photos. The last photo is the kiddos sleeping. Easton often times crawls into bed with Peyton.

5th Anniversary Day 7 Framed Out #1, Heart-2-Heart #1 & Lighten Up

Day 7 of PTI's festivities. My inspiration for this card is from Michelle Wooderson. Below is a photo of the cards I made for everyone in the family. The blue ribbon is Easton's, the pink flower is Peyton's and the other card is for Randy's. I got the idea for Randy's card from Heather Nichols.

5th Anniversary Day 6: Frilly Flowers, Think Big #13, Global Greetings & More

As soon as Peyton (my seven year old) saw the sketches she decided she needed to make a card. She made a card for her teacher. Valentine's is a good holiday for her since her favorite colors are pink and purple.

Bingo, Basketball, and Hockey

Friday night the Sabart's decided to attend "Cabin Fever" at Peyton and Easton's school. We enjoyed seeing all of our friends, eating pizza, drinking pop, and playing some bingo. Saturday morning we enjoyed watching Easton play basketball. Wow! He is pretty good. Saturday afternoon Amanda, Uncle Gary, and Chels all came to watch Peyton play in her hockey game. Subway and a good time at the house afterwards. Chelsie, Gary and I also had some fun hitting the craft store. Believe it or not we have nothing on the schedule tomorrow. Looking forward to that!
